Distance Education Support

Students taking some or all of their courses away from the main UH campus are enrolled in distance education courses. These courses are taught online, face-to-face, or some hybrid of the two.

This page provides resources for distance education students.

Accessing electronic resources away from campus

Electronic resources, such as databases and journals, are available to all distance education students away from the main UH campus.

You will be asked to login with your CougarNet when trying to access electronic resources from off campus. The authentication screen is available here.

Receiving articles electronically

Most articles will be delivered electronically. You will receive an email notification when an article is ready.

After logging in to ILLiad, select “Web Delivery” on the left-hand menu. A list of articles will be displayed. Articles are delivered in PDF format.

There are times when, due to licensing, copyright, or availability, an electronic copy of an article cannot be supplied. In these instances, a paper copy of the article will be delivered to the delivery location you have selected. You will receive an email notification with delivery information.
