Visiting the Music Library

The Music Library is located on the second floor of the Moores School of Music, room 220.

Parking at the Elgin Street Garage

While there are visitor spaces in Zone A and Zone B (Pay by Phone), the main visitor parking for the Music Library is in the Elgin Street Garage located at 4224 Elgin St, Houston, TX 77004. It’s on Elgin Street near University Entrance 18. See the Garage parking rates.

Additionally, bikes and skooters may be stored in racks at the Elgin Garage.

Accessible parking is available in the Elgin Street Garage.

Walking Directions to Library from Elgin Street Garage

From the Elgin Street Garage, take the elevator or stairs to the ground floor and exit from the South side of the garage.

Facing campus, walk south and cross the street toward the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design building, follow the sidwalk to the right toward Wilhelmina’s Grove. The Moores School of Music is a tan and red brick building on the right side of the Grove.

Enter through the main doors of the building. The Music Library is located on the second floor of the Moores School of Music, room 220.
