Town Hall on Open Education

The University of Houston Libraries Town Hall on Open Education will be an opportunity to engage in conversation with national experts about the future of Open Education. We’ll get an update on SPARC’s work on Open Education and more broadly on the Open Agenda, and a discussion of national trends that are shaping the Open Education movement, including information on recent studies, policy trends, and SPARC’s priorities for the future. There will be plenty of time for open discussion so that you can ask the experts your questions about Open Education.

This will be a great opportunity for anyone interested to learn more about Open Education and open educational resources (OER).

Speakers:

Nicole Allen, Director of Open Education, SPARC

Mo Nyamweya, Open Education Coordinator, SPARC

Camille Thomas, Open Education Ambassador, SPARC

Ariana Santiago, OER Coordinator, UH Libraries
