That\u2019s why new, contemporary furniture has been added to floors 1, 7 and 8 at MD Anderson Library.<br \/>\r\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Inspired by student feedback reflecting preferences for a variety of study seating options and consistent with the Reimagined Library vision, the space refresh began in September 2024 with floor 1. There students can choose from relaxed, counter-height and laptop-friendly, soft seating.<br \/>\r\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;More recently, 160 seats were added to floors 7 and 8, including single-user carrels and rounded pods, as well as tables with privacy screens.
