The mobile Cougar Card is a new option that gives UH students, faculty, and staff seamless access to campus resources and services through their iPhone, Android, or Apple Watch without carrying a physical card.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<div id=\"attachment_6629\" style=\"width: 830px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6629\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6629\" src=\"https:\/\/libraries.uh.edu\/special-collections\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/08\/mobile-cc.png\" alt=\"mobile cougar card screen on mobile devices\" width=\"820\" height=\"820\" srcset=\"https:\/\/libraries.uh.edu\/special-collections\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/08\/mobile-cc.png 820w, https:\/\/libraries.uh.edu\/special-collections\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/08\/mobile-cc-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/libraries.uh.edu\/special-collections\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/08\/mobile-cc-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/libraries.uh.edu\/special-collections\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/08\/mobile-cc-768x768.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 820px) 100vw, 820px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-6629\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The mobile Cougar Card is a new option that gives UH students, faculty, and staff contactless entry to the MD Anderson Library.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\n<p>Effective immediately, visitors to the MD Anderson Library who have activated their mobile Cougar Card on an iPhone, Android, or Apple Watch can simply tap their device to:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/2v-6ZVE_Ea0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Enter the MD Anderson Library using the turnstiles (video)<\/a><\/li>\r\n\t<li>Check out materials at all Libraries service desks<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Activate and release print jobs at Libraries printers<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>Visitors who have <strong>not<\/strong> activated their mobile Cougar Card are able to use one of the following Library entry methods:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Physical Cougar Card: tap or swipe your card at the turnstiles<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Digital Cougar Card: in the UH Go app, generate a QR code and present to the Security staff for scanning<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Valid, government-issued photo ID: sign in at the Security desk<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uh.edu\/af-university-services\/cougarcard\/mobile-cougar-card\/index.php\">Visit Mobile Cougar Card for more information<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"University of Houston is a mobile-first campus.
