Visiting the Library
Parking at the Welcome Center Garage
The main visitor parking for MD Anderson Library is in the Welcome Center Garage located at 4400 University Drive, Houston, TX 77204. It’s on the corner of University Drive and Martin Luther King Blvd, with the main entrance located on Martin Luther King Blvd. See the Garage parking rates.
Accessible parking is available in the Welcome Center Garage. Additionally, individuals with disabilities may be dropped off curbside near the library.
Walking Directions to Library from Welcome Center
From the Welcome Center Garage, take the elevator or stairs to the ground floor and exit from the North side of the garage.
Facing University Drive, turn left and follow the sidewalk past the University Hilton, toward the E Cullen Building, the library will be towards the right at the end of University Drive.
Cross University Drive. Walk around the front of MD Anderson Library, take the steps or ramp to the entrance.
Once inside MD Anderson Library

| Special Collections Visitor | Check-in at the security desk located top left of the steps. You will need a government ID to check in. Once past the turnstiles, take the grand staircase up to the second floor. Special Collections is directly in front of the staircase. Elevators are also available along the wall, just past the base of the grand staircase. |
| Elizabeth D Rockwell Pavilion Attendee | Upon entry, take the spiral staircase to your right to the second floor. The Elizabeth D. Rockwell Pavilion will be directly in front of you. An elevator is also available left of the stairs. |
