Request a Purchase
- University of Houston faculty, staff, and students may submit purchase requests for materials we do not own.
- Purchase decisions are made according to funding, cost, and availability of the item.
- We do not purchase textbooks. Instructors may place personal copies of textbooks on course reserves. See our Textbook Acquisition Policy for more information.
- Please submit one item per request only. Request forms submitted with multiple items will be canceled.
Please allow a minimum of 6 weeks for purchase requests to be processed. Time-sensitive requests for research or study materials may also be submitted via interlibrary loan.
Note: We are aware of intermittent issues with form submissions. If you encounter an issue completing your request, please submit a help ticket and we’ll be happy to assist you.
