University of Houston faculty, staff, and students may submit purchase requests for materials we do not own.
Purchase decisions are made according to funding, cost, and availability of the item.
We do not purchase textbooks. Instructors may place personal copies of textbooks on course reserves.
Please submit one item per request only. Request forms submitted with multiple items will be canceled.

Please allow a minimum of 6 weeks for purchase requests to be processed. Time-sensitive requests for research or study materials may also be submitted via interlibrary loan.

If you need an item for your course, please submit a course reserves request. Instructors can also request streaming media for course instruction.
