Staff at the Service Desk will retrieve library materials for users with disabilities.
Accessible space
Features include:
- Three Optelec Spectrum text magnifiers with variable color for text and background
- Computer terminal with wide-screen monitor and CougarNet access
- Kurzweil 1000 software and scanner

Computers
There are 6 computers in MD Anderson Library and 1 in the Health Sciences Library equipped with assistive technology.
Features include
- 22 inch wide monitors with removable privacy films
- Adjustable-height desks
- Special computer mouse designed for limited hand mobility
- ZoomText (software for screen magnification)
- Dragon Naturally Speaking speech-to-text software
Please ask a library staff member for help in locating the assistive technology computers.
A CougarNet is required to use library computers.
