MD Anderson Library provides both carrels and private rooms for private individual use by faculty.

Eligibility

Generally, full-time faculty at UH main campus engaged in research are considered eligible to reserve a carrel or room. We are happy to consider special circumstances or answer any questions.

Location and furniture

• All faculty spaces are in MD Anderson Library, on the 2nd through 5th floors
• Faculty carrels are located in the Blue Wing. Every carrel has a lockable door, desk, and chair
• Faculty rooms are located in the Brown Wing. Every room has a lockable door
• Room furniture varies from room to room. Please contact us if you have specific needs
